Price priority
Fixed price first, then customer discount, then base price.

Fixed prices come first
Set a fixed price for a product when you have agreed a specific amount with a buyer. That price is used directly. The customer discount is not applied again.
Discounts apply to the base price
For products without a fixed price, the customer discount applies to the shared base wholesale price. Enter a discount from 0% to 100%, with up to two decimal places. With no discount or fixed price, the base price is used.
Check a worked example
A notebook has a base price of $8.00. A 10% discount gives a price of $7.20. A fixed price of $6.80 gives a price of $6.80. If the base price rises to $8.50, the discounted price becomes $7.65 and the fixed price stays $6.80.
Currency and rounding
A customer and their products must use the same currency. Discounted prices round once to the currency’s supported decimal places, with halves rounded up. Source prices with extra decimal places need correcting before import; there is no automatic currency conversion.
